Brian Makes Your Move A Smooth Transition

Living in Paradise

Flagstaff is called a paradise by most residents and visitors alike. Located in the largest Ponderosa Pine forest in the world, with wild flowers in Spring, mild Summer days and towering snow covered mountains in Winter, it would be hard to disagree. Under crystal clear night skies, Flagstaff is nestled at the base of the San Francisco Peaks, where aspen groves quivering in the wind and changing colors in the fall spread up the slopes of Mt. Humphreys, Arizona's highest mountain at 12,634 feet.

Named soon after local residents fashioned a flagpole from a pine tree to commemorate the centennial celebration in 1876 of the Declaration of Independence, Flagstaff offers easy access to nearby state and national parks and numerous natural wonders. The Grand Canyon is Northern Arizona's top destination and other popular nearby sites include the Indian ruins at Walnut Canyon and Wupatki, the dormant volcanoes at Sunset Crater National Monument and Oak Creek's red rock canyons near Sedona.

Flagstaff enjoys almost 300 sunny days a year, but with an average high of 82 degrees in July, most Summer days are more than 25 degrees cooler than Phoenix. It is an ideal area to satisfy your outdoor interests whether you enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, skiing or hunting. Flagstaff also offers numerous sites for celebrating its diverse culture and rich history, including the Museum of Northern Arizona, Pioneer Museum and the Flagstaff Arboretum. Reflecting the influence of Northern Arizona University and Coconino Community College, Flagstaff also offers educational and fine arts venues.

Located 146 miles north of Phoenix, Flagstaff is the regional center of Northern Arizona and is located on historic Route 66. With its convenient location, it remains a modern transportation hub, located at the intersection of I-40 and I-17. Highway 180 provides direct access to the Grand Canyon from town and Highway 89 travels north to Page and Utah.
